Milton Bradley/Hasbro has come out with a fun new version of the classic game Operation. The new Operation Rescue Kit is a fun and funny family game that kids and parents will all love. Updated with new activities and multiple types of games, the Operation Rescue Kit game will be a hit as a gift or just for tickling a family's funny bones.
New Features in Operation Rescue Kit Game
This game has been updated and redesigned to include a cool new box, a new timer, new ailments, four game versions, and new challenge. The box is great, leaving behind the perpetually crunched cardboard for a neat plastic "doctor's bag" game container. It folds up to store the game in a compact space. The game has 15 patient problems, with new modern ailments, including "Texting Thumb," (for the poor soul who wrote a few too many Blackberry messages) and "Joystick Wrist," (a video game addict issue).
There are four different games to try:
- Speed It Up!
- More Oxygen, Please!
- Rush Job!
- Specialist Help!
Also new are a heart monitor, which keeps track of scores, and an oxygen pump that can add more time.
Old Favorite Qualities
If the old version was beloved, one will not be too disappointed by the redesigned Operation game. Good old "Cavity Sam," the patient with the big red nose, still looks pretty much the same. Also the same is the "buzz" one gets when a mistake is made removing one of the "Funatomy" parts. By the way, anyone who has ever lost one of those little white parts will be happy to hear there is a special storage area for them, built into the game board By the way, replacement parts to games may be ordered through Hasbro.
