According to the experts at Hamley's, sellers of the finest toys in the world, there are 10 toys in particular that will be best sellers this year. Check them out!

Each holiday season major toy giants compete by releasing a list of what they believe to be the top Christmas toys for the year. Well Hamley's was the first to release its list on July 21st 2009. This list is the company's predictions of which toys will be best sellers and super popular this Christmas season 2009.

According to ToyShopUk's article, Top Toys for Christmas 2009, the head of Hamleys retail Nigel Wheatley said the following of their list: “From the traditional classics like Lego, Barbie and Slinky, to dressing up dreams and the latest in electronic wizardry, we have one of our best ranges in years wrapped up for a bumper Christmas this year.”

Battle Strikers Tournament Set

Battle Strikers is the next generation of battling turbo tops in a controlled tournament arena. The 17-piece set includes 2 turbo launchers, 2 magnetic controllers and 2 strikers. Kids can collect all 16 of the custom Battle Strikers to compete with friends.

Transformers Bumblebee Helmet

Transformers toys are popular again thanks to the release of the Transformers movies. He can become the ultimate Autobot warrior with this Transformers 2 Revenge of the Fallen Bumblebee helmet. With the built-in voice-mixer he'll even sound like a warrior too! It adjusts to fit head sizes of kids aged 5 to adults.

For a twist, the walls may move at any time and the game is played with the changeable Lego dice. This particular toy is only available in the UK but similar Lego sets can be found at a local toy shop.

Hamley's may be a UK based toy shop but all but one of these toys (Lego Minotaurus Game) on the list can be found at a local Toys R Us store. Children will be happy to get any of the gifts from this list on Christmas morning.
