Children's Toys for Playing in the SnowSleds, Snow Fort Molds, Snowball Maker & Kid-Sized ShovelsKids look forward to playing outside in the snow. Make their time more fun by having these great winter-time toys readily available.
Most parents can probably remember playing with each of these classic snow toys when they were children. Send your children outdoors to play in the snow this winter with a sled, a snow fort mold, snowball maker and a kid-sized shovel. SledSledding is one of the most fun wintertime activities a child can do. There are several types of snow sleds available. Choosing one is a matter of personal preference. You and your children may choose to have a few different types of sleds on hand.
Snow Fort MoldThe classic, red snow fort mold has been around for years. Kids use it to build snow forts, igloos, houses or whatever their imagination can conjure. These work best with snow that packs well. To keep the snow from sticking to the mold, spray the inside of the mold lightly with cooking spray. Snowball MakerSometimes sold as a companion to the snow fort mold, the snow ball maker resembles a large, double ice cream scoop. Kids can make perfectly round snowballs every time with the snow ball maker. This toy is perfect for building a stash of snowballs to hide behind the snow fort. Kid-Sized Snow ShovelA small, child-sized snow shovel is a great toy for young children. Before they know snow shoveling is a chore, most children enjoy digging and shoveling. Older children will enjoy using the shovel to dig a hole in a snow bank for a snow cave. Be sure to keep a few of these shovels on hand so there is one for every child that wants to use it. Classic snow toys never go out of style. Be sure to have a few sleds, a snow fort mold, a snowball maker and a few kid-sized shovels for your children’s outdoor, winter playtime.
